The Nowhere Wolf's Vowel Movements online cartoon is written, conceived and performed by Paul Bowers, freelance illustrator and designer. It has been worked on (on and off) for about 8 years, but only went live on April 10, 2006.

How is the Nowhere Wolf's Vowel Movements created? I use Macromedia Freehand to create the line drawings and text. Most of the rendering is done with this package also. The great thing is it allows for infinite scaling with no distortion as it's all vector based. It's then ported to Adobe Photoshop as an eps file to be converted to different file formats. Of course it's all sketched out first, the old fashioned way with pen and paper, and once I'm happy with it, I'll assume the position in front of my PC.
